Privacy Policy

The short version: this site has no accounts, no advertising, and sets no tracking cookies of its own. The longer version follows.
What we collect
Browsing this site requires no registration and asks you for nothing. Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard, short-lived server logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested — which we use only to keep the site running and diagnose problems. We do not build profiles of visitors.
If we later add analytics, we intend to use a privacy-respecting, cookie-free service that counts visits without identifying visitors, and we will update this page when we do.
When you follow a purchase link
Purchase links lead to third-party sites — marketplaces like Etsy and makers’ own shops. Once you leave our site, their privacy policies apply, not ours. Where a link is an affiliate link, the destination site or its affiliate network may set a cookie on their own domain so that a purchase can be credited to us; we receive aggregate reporting (that a sale happened and its commission), never your name, address, or payment details. See our affiliate disclosure for how those relationships work.
If you contact us or submit something
If you email us or send a correction or suggestion through the site, we receive what you send — typically your message and, if you choose to include it, your name and email address. We use it to respond and to improve the site, we do not sell it or add you to any mailing list without asking, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
Cookies and local storage
The site itself sets no advertising or analytics cookies. A small technical exception: if a pre-launch preview mode is active, a single functional cookie remembers that your browser is allowed to view the site. Nothing about you rides in it.
Your rights
Since we hold almost nothing about you, most data-rights requests are short conversations. If you believe we hold personal information about you — most likely because you emailed us — you may request a copy, a correction, or deletion, and we will comply. Residents of jurisdictions with specific privacy laws (such as GDPR or CCPA/CPRA) may exercise the rights those laws provide through the same contact.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
If our practices change — for example, if we add analytics or a newsletter — this page changes first, with a new date at the top.
