What this site is

Ethno Craft Jewels is an editorial catalogue. We research and present handmade jewellery from craft traditions around the world, explain the history and techniques behind it, and link to independent sellers and makers where pieces can be purchased. We are not a store: we do not sell, stock, ship, or accept payment for any product shown on this site.

Purchases happen elsewhere

Every purchase link on this site leads to a third-party seller — most often an independent maker's listing on a marketplace such as Etsy. Your purchase, payment, shipping, returns, and any dispute are between you and that seller, under that seller's and that marketplace's terms. We are not a party to the transaction and cannot accept responsibility for a seller's products, pricing, availability, or service. Editorial content and accuracy

The cultural and historical information on this site is researched in good faith and provided for general interest and education. Craft traditions are living things, sources disagree, and we will sometimes be wrong. Content is provided “as is,” without warranty of accuracy or completeness, and nothing here is professional advice of any kind — including appraisal, authentication, or valuation of jewellery. If you spot an error, we genuinely want to hear about it and will correct it.

Intellectual property

The editorial text and the site's original design are ours. Product photographs may belong to the sellers and makers whose work is featured and are used to identify and link to their listings. You may quote brief excerpts of our text with attribution and a link; do not republish substantial portions, or scrape the catalogue wholesale, without permission. Nothing on this site grants any right to the featured makers' designs, marks, or images.

If you send us something

If you submit a correction, suggestion, comment, or other material, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use, edit, and display it on the site, with or without attribution. Submissions are reviewed before anything is published, and we may decline or remove any submission at our discretion. Do not submit material you do not have the right to share.

Acceptable use
